Branch Manager
Philip Hunt has been employed at Avonmouth since 1991. Prior to that, he had previous experience in the welding industry another Bristol based distributor, sadly no longer in existence. Phil's experience covers all aspects of welding and he is not afraid to get his hands dirty for a good cause. Phil manages the Avonmouth depot with a strict hand and treats his staff and customers alike. Away from work, Phil is married to Christine and they have one daughter, Rachel.
Area Sales Manager
Bob Lewis joined Wellington Welding Supplies in 2005 after spending 33 years with a well established Bristol based welding distributor with primary responsibility for sales. After the business was sold Bob decided it was time for a change and made the journey across town to join us where he is again responsible for sales. During the time Bob has been with us he has made a great impact and is popular with both customers and staff alike. Prior to the welding industry Bob trained as a Toolmaker undergoing a thorough apprenticeship in all aspects including welding. Away from work Bob is married to Jackie and has one son Paul.
Sales Engineer
Neil Kennedy joined Wellington Welding after gaining previous experience working in internal sales for Parkins Ltd, concentrating mainly on welding related products. Neil has been with the company since 1998 and covers Devon and Somerset, splitting his time between the Plymouth and Avonmouth depots. Highly skilled, he has probably been on more courses than any other individual within the company.
Van Driver
Louise James joined the company in October 2005 and is employed delivering products for Avonmouth, in addition she helps on the depot administration and is a ferociously quick learner particularly on the computer. She could easily be one of the best office workers we have but prefers to be out and about. Away from work Louise has a son Samuel, is an avid reader and supports Liverpool FC (nobody’s perfect).
