To put it frankly this is Esab's cheap helmet, designed to compete with all the junk coming in from god knows where with virtually no product guarantees or quality & if judged by these criteria it does a fair job. However for me the issue of personal health is a no brainer & I would always urge people to pay more & get a better quality product. Go for an Eyetech or a Speedglass every time.
