This handy little device allows you to accurately set gas flow directly from the torch even if you don't have a flowmeter attached to your regulator.

You simply place the Gas Flow Tester over the end of your MIG or TIG torch, press the welding torch trigger and adjust your gas regulator until you get the required flow rate shown in the calibrated tube.

The general recommendations for Mig welding are around 7-12 litres per minute for mild steel solid wires, higher for stainless and aluminium at around 16-20 litres per minute and Tig welding around 6-12 litres per minute irrespective of the material.
