This WP9 Type Torch features a manual on/off valve built into the torch handle which controls the flow of Argon gas to the nozzle. This makes it ideal for use with small (up to 150Amps) DC inverter welders when converting to scratch start type Tig welding.

The end termination on this torch is a 3/8BSP RH Female Nut so to ensure connectivity to a welding machine with typical dinse style connections a suitable adaptor should be purchased (see related products), this will allow for a gas connection as well as welding power.

This particular torch features a 12.5Ft torch cable which is generally long enough for most applications. This torch is suitable for use with tungstens up to 1.6mm diameter and that is the size we recommend for use with this torch.

Torch supplied with short back cap only, you will need to order a collet, collet body and ceramic (as below and see related products) if buying for the first time. Would also recommend a Long Back Cap.
