The Esab cylindrical flashback arrestors are of an advanced design giving a higher flow rate. The FRT model is designed to be connected to the regulator or outlet point. The model is equipped with a large cylindrical flame arresting element, an automatic reset non-return valve and a heat sensitive thermal cut-off.

Connection to the regulator is by a captive 3/8BSP Female Nut and hose connection is via a 3/8BSP Male. As it is an Oxygen Arrestor all connections are RH.

Suitable for welding operations up to 30mm, cutting operations up to 200mm and heating operations up to 100mm.

British Compressed Gases Association Code of Practice 7 recommends that Flashback Arrestors are tested annually and replaced after 5 years in service.
