Saffire Gas Equipment has been made in the UK by Gas Control Equipment for many years and is without doubt one of the premium brands of gas equipment for sale in the UK. Whilst no longer available under the Murex brand we can now offer the identical regulator direct from the manufacturer, Gas Control Equipment.

GCE is a bench mark for quality and safety and products conform to all the relevant standards. When using flammable gases it really doesn't pay to go to cheap and thought should be given to testing and checking for worn or damaged equipment.

Gas equipment in general has a maximum life of 5 years and should be replaced at the end of this period or sooner if required. This means having a competent person test it at least once a year and a written record should be maintained.

This regulator is a multi-stage 0-4 Bar outlet, with 2 gauges, one showing bottle pressure, one showing working pressure. It is rated for use with cylinders up to 300 Bar and has a standard 5/8BSP Bull Nose Bottle Connection and 3/8BSP Hose Connection.
