What is a MIG Welder?

MIG or GMAW is an electric arc welding process that uses an inert gas such as argon to protect the weld from contaminating gases in the atmosphere such as nitrogen. MIG stands for metal inert gas and a MIG welder creates an electric arc by the use of modern sophisticated parts.
