During the relatively short time she has been with us she has initiated any number of improvements to the financial process and recording of data. She is a true believer in the paperless office and introduced modern scanning and recording processes to key areas of the company. She is also a great fan of spreadsheets and their use in displaying relevant key financial data.

Branch Manager
John was originally born in Kenya where he grew up until he was 10 years old and then moved back to Wimborne with his family.
After school John joined the Royal Navy as an Electronic Warfare Technician for a seven year stint. After this John joined Wellington Welding Supplies for his first period which ran from 1987 to 2004, there then followed a brief stint with a local fastenings company which meant that although he no longer worked for us we could at least keep an eye on him.
Eventually the lure of welding products proved too strong and John rejoined us in March 07.
John has represented Wellington Welding with distinction at both golf and cricket but admits to being past his prime at cricket. Away from work John and his partner Jude enjoy relaxing with friends and family.
Sales Engineer
Neil joined Wellington Welding after gaining previous experience working in internal sales for an Exeter based distributor of a wide range of welding and building related products.
Neil has been with the company since 1998 and covers Devon looking after our many and varied customer base including one man bands, farmers and high tech engineering companies.
Highly skilled, he has probably been on more courses than any other individual within the company. He has a unique qualification within the company to assess and certify gas manifolds and is widely held in high regard throughout the company for his professionalism and wide ranging knowledge.
Sales Engineer
Richard joined Wellington Welding Supplies Ltd in January 2014. After leaving the Royal Navy in 2010 Richard had a number of jobs including valeting BMW cars and a spell at a well known celebrity chef's restaurant in Plymouth as a pastry chef. We hope he has now found his true vocation and we can develop his obvious people skills.
Richard originally comes from Staffordshire and away from work he enjoys socialising with friends and family and retains a strong interest in the food industry.
Richard looks after our many key accounts in Plymouth and Cornwall and established an excellent rapport with his customers.
Warehouse Supervisor
Lee joined Wellington Welding Supplies in July 2016. Prior to joining us he worked at Princess Yachts as a laminator.
In his youth Lee played rugby for Plymouth Albion and twice represented Devon, sadly a knee injury sustained whilst playing hockey put an end to his rugby playing days.
Away from work Lee enjoys watching most sports including football and rugby and socialising with his friends. He is also the proud father of two sons who he hopes will follow in his rugby playing footsteps.
Lee is Plymouth born and bred and knows the city like the back of his hand.
Service Engineer
Jake joined Wellington Welding in 2023 as a trainee Service Engineer and we enrolled him at our local college in Plymouth in order for him to complete his professional training which he did with great distinction earning an overall Merit in his studies. Despite his relative youth Jake displays a maturity beyond his years and is comfortable talking to customers at all levels and ages.
Away from work Jake supports Plymouth Argyle and enjoys spending time with his young son.
Van Driver
Jason rejoined us for his second stint as the main Plymouth driver in February 2023 after a gap of some years. The lure of working once again for one of the premier welding suppliers in the south of England obviously proved too strong!
Jason’s previous work life involved a long stint with our armed forces before returning and settling in Plymouth. He also worked as tyre fitter between his sessions with us. Jason is practical and hard working and can be relied upon to pull through in a crisis.
Away from work Jason enjoys watching sport and spending time with his family.
