Provides respiratory protection against fine dusts, mists, metal fume and Ozone. A more premium product to the Classic 9925 due to its additional soft sealing face ring (FFP1).

 The 3M 9925 and 9928 Welding Fume respirators provide lightweight, effective, comfortable and hygienic respiratory protection against dust particles, non-volatile liquid particles and metal fumes whilst resisting clogging for extended use against welding fume. These respirators additionally provide respiratory protection against ozone as well as offering relief from nuisance odours.
  • Tested and CE Approved to EN 149:2001+A1:2009
  • Flame retardant, anti-clog, outer surface minimises the detrimental effects associated with welding spatter
  • Carbon later provides protection against Ozone gas (10x WEL) and nuisance levels odours (below WEL)
  • Soft inner face-seal ring improves face seal, wearer comfort and allows for hygienic cleaning if used for longer than one shift.
  • 4 point adjustable braided headbands help achieve a more secure feel and provide comfort to face, head and neck
  • 3M Advanced Electret Filter Material gives effective filtration with low breathing resistance for consistent high quality performance
  • 3M Cool Flow exhalation valve offers improved comfort in hot humid environments and/or where work is hard and physical
  • Fits well with 3M Speedglas Welding Headtops
Standards
The product has been tested to the European Norm EN149: 2001 and has met the requirements of category FFP2 in this standard. The main performance tests in this standard are:

The 3M 9300 Series Respirators have been shown to meet the Basic Safety Requirements under Article 10 and 11A of the European Community Directive 89/686. An EC type examination certificate is in force issued by the British Standards Institute.
FFP1 Respirators 
Disposable Respirators marked FFP1 offer protection against low levels of fine dusts and oil and water-based mists (hand sanding, drilling, cutting.) 3M FFP1 respirators can be identified by their yellow straps or nose clip. All FFP1 Respirators have an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 4.

FFP2 Respirators 
Disposable Respirators marked FFP2 offer protection against moderate levels of fine dusts and oil and water-based mists (including sanding and wood dust.) 3M FFP2 respirators can be identified by their blue straps, valve lettering or nose clip. All FFP2 Respirators have an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 10.

FFP3 Respirators 
Disposable Respirators marked FFP3 offer protection against higher level fine dust / oil or water-based mists including hazardous pharmaceutical powders, biological agents and fibres. 3M FFP3 respirators can be identified by their red straps, valve lettering or nose clip. All FFP3 Respirators have an Assigned Protection Factor (APF) of 20.
